Description
The AVO “The Closing Improvisation” Outro 2022 contains two blends are used for this year’s release and are inspired by the layout of white and black keys on a piano to capture the essence of AVO as a brand and the musical affinity of its founder.
The Improvisation 2022 White is created with binder and filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and dressed with a silky, golden Ecuador Connecticut wrapper. The Improvisation 2022 Black also uses an Ecuadorian Wrapper, but contains a binder from Mexico and filler tobaccos from both Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
White Tasting Notes
THE INITIAL TASTE EXPRESSES A HONEY SWEETNESS, FOLLOWED BY CREAM AND BLACK PEPPER WITH CEDAR NOTES. THE COMPLEX YET CRISP DEVELOPMENT OF FLAVOUR BRINGS THE CEDAR TO THE FOREFRONT, COMPLIMENTED BY A NUTTY TEXTURE AND FLAVOUR ON THE FINISH. AS WE APPROACH THE FINALE, THE PEPPER RETURNS ALONG WITH HAY AND LEATHER WHICH WERE PREVALENT IN THE PRE-LIGHT AROMA AND COLD DRAW. THE END RESULT IS A MASTERPIECE.
Black Tasting Notes
THE PRE-LIGHT IS SHARPLY DISTINCT WITH LEATHER AND SWEET CEDAR. UPON LIGHTING, A COFFEE NOTE EXPLODES FIRST SUBTLY THEN QUICKLY EVOLVING INTO DEEP, RICH ROASTED COFFEE. AS YOU MOVE INTO THE BODY OF THE CIGAR, OAK WOOD AND RICH EARTH NOTES ARE COMPLIMENTED BY A FINISH OF TOASTED BREAD AND BAKING SPICE. MOVING INTO THE FINAL THIRD DELIGHTS THE PALATE WITH A DRIED FRUIT SWEETNESS ENHANCES THESE NOTES. THE AROMA OF AGED LEATHER PLEASES THROUGHOUT.
