S.T. Dupont Hotel Particulier Line 2 Lighter
The post-war period coincided with a new start for the ‘Dupont‘ family business which adopted a new name “Les fils de S.T. Dupont“. The Dupont brothers, Andre and Lucien, purchased a new building located at 8 bis rue Dieu in the Republique neighborhood of Paris housing 60 artisans spread out over three floors. Once there, they remained suppliers for department stores and were able to welcome prestigious clientele. Soon the grand private mansion grew to house 250 artisans to craft one-of-a-kind pieces along with their collections.
Printed Lacquer Technique
S.T. Dupont‘s master-craftsmen utilize a printed lacquer technique for this collection to animate the beautiful maison portrayed on each lighter. The embossed images in sepia and cream tones are expertly crafted with a matte finish. Each side of the lighter features a different view of the iconic building.
