Description
S.T. Dupont‘s new Koi Fish collection draws inspiration from the traditional Japanese woodblock printing technique. The symbol of Koi fish is a true representation of bravery and perseverance. The design pays homage to the rich cultural heritage of Japan, showcasing a captivating animation that celebrates nature in all its glory.
Lacquer Technique
S.T. Dupont master-craftsmen utilize a printed lacquer technique to animate the colorful scenes portrayed on each lighter. Several layers of natural lacquer are hand applied to obtain a pearl-like shimmer and a luxurious finish that is resistant to shocks, scratches and even fire.
