AVO Expresivo Robusto marks a defining moment for the AVO brand—the first line in its history to be produced in Honduras.

The Blend

Expresivo is built on a multi-terroir foundation that steps beyond the classic Dominican-centered AVO profile:

Jalapa (Nicaragua): Finesse, floral nuances, and subtle sweetness that add elegance and balance.

Condega (Nicaragua): Roasted depth and structural balance with slightly saline undertones, supporting consistent combustion.

Jamastrán Valley (Honduras): Strength, earthiness, and spicy intensity that form the structural backbone of the blend.

Ecuadorian Wrapper: Silky texture, visual refinement, and a touch of creaminess that harmonizes the overall profile.

The blend uses exclusively high-grade tobaccos from higher primings, selected for richness, aromatic intensity, and structural integrity. Fermentation is tailored to each tobacco's intrinsic character—Honduran leaves are carefully tempered to preserve depth while smoothing their natural power; Jalapa tobaccos undergo longer cycles to reveal nuanced floral and sweet notes.

The Experience

The Robusto opens with earthy depth—calm and assured—shaped by subtle hints of dark chocolate and roasted nuts. As it unfolds, leather comes forward, bringing structure and warmth, softened by gentle creaminess and a refined wooden note. Toward the close, spice rises with clarity and vibrancy, joined by touches of dried fruit and delicate floral accents.
