In that time, the standard humidors come and go, the regular collections cycle through their patterns, and the Elie Bleu workshop in the tradition of the Faubourg Saint-Antoine continues its work. When the Fire Horse year arrives — 2026, the year of the Bing Wu — the Maison responds with something that belongs to it: a marquetry humidor in stained flamed sycamore, the horse rendered in wood against a field that carries the temperature of the element, gold metallic transfer details tracing the contours of the image. Limited to 88 pieces. Made in France.

Stained Flamed Sycamore / Marquetry

Sycamore is a wood that rewards the marquetry process. Its figure — the flamed movement in the grain, visible when the material is cut on the correct plane — responds to the staining methods that Elie Bleu uses to achieve the color ranges their collections require. For the Fire Horse, the staining is calibrated to carry the warmth and energy of the fire element: the sycamore sheets hand-selected, cut, assembled, and fitted by craftsmen who work at the pace of jewelers, finishing what the material began. The gold metallic transfer details that accent the Fire Horse marquetry do not decorate the surface — they complete it, adding the specificity that distinguishes this edition from every standard production in the Maison's catalog.

110-Cigar Capacity / Internal Appointments

The humidor accommodates 110 cigars across its Spanish cedar interior. Two humidifiers maintain a stable humidity environment; a needle hygrometer allows precise monitoring and adjustment. The interior is configured to hold vitolas correctly — not loosely, not compressed — at the conditions that preserve their development. The 110-cigar format is the right size for a collection that is in use: large enough to maintain variety, compact enough to manage. At 48.5 × 27.0 × 10.5 cm, the Fire Horse humidor fits a study, a library shelf, or the right position on a desk.
