Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Edición Doble Diamante Red — the second expression of the Doble Diamante series, rated 95 by Cigar Aficionado. Inspired by the rarity and brilliance of a red diamond, this exclusive release showcases some of the finest and rarest tobaccos from A.J. Fernandez's personal reserve, cultivated at the renowned Finca la Lilia and San Lotano farms in Nicaragua's Estelí Valley. 6½" × 54 Toro.
The Legacy Continues
The original Doble Diamante earned a 94 rating from Cigar Aficionado — the highest rated premium cigar in the market. The Doble Diamante Red builds on that foundation with a 95 rating, proving that A.J. Fernandez and the Montecristo team had more to say.
Inspired by Rarity
The red diamond is among the rarest gemstones on earth. This release takes its name and its philosophy from that rarity — showcasing some of the finest and most limited tobaccos from A.J. Fernandez's personal reserve, cultivated at the renowned Finca la Lilia and San Lotano farms in Nicaragua's Estelí Valley. These are not production tobaccos. These are leaves set aside for moments exactly like this.
The Blend
A small-batch Nicaraguan wrapper envelops an extra-fermented Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan long-filler. The result is a rich and complex aroma highlighted by notes of spice and leather. The refined flavor profile unfolds with layers of cocoa, leather, spice, and espresso, creating a smooth and balanced finish. Medium to full strength throughout.
The Presentation
Presented in a stunning 20-count cedar humidor featuring a piano finish and metal accents. Each box is individually numbered. Limited production of 250 boxes worldwide.
