The Padrón Rare Finds “A Hammer & A Dream” Maduro is a historic collaboration between two icons of the cigar world — Padrón Cigars and The Tobacconist of Greenwich — created to honor the legacy of José Orlando Padrón and celebrate six decades of craftsmanship, perseverance, and passion.
Crafted in Nicaragua and released in conjunction with the exclusive “A Hammer & A Dream” Experience on June 11, 2025, this rare cigar marks a new chapter in the Padrón story. Each cigar is hand-rolled with Padrón’s finest aged Nicaraguan tobaccos and cloaked in a rich, dark Maduro wrapper, delivering a full-bodied profile layered with espresso, black pepper, dark chocolate, cedar, and a touch of sweet spice.
Presented in boxes of 10, each cigar in this collection is part of a strictly limited run of only 500 individually numbered boxes. This release is not only a tribute to the Padrón family's journey — represented by the "hammer" José Orlando Padrón used to rebuild his life in exile — but also to the dream realized through generations of uncompromising quality and dedication to craft.
The Rare Finds “A Hammer & A Dream” Maduro was developed through over a year of collaborative blending between Jorge Padrón and Michael Cafagno, owner of The Tobacconist of Greenwich, culminating in a blend that reflects the deep respect both houses share for heritage and innovation. The cigars debuted at the “A Hammer & A Dream” event, alongside a tasting of award-winning vintage Padrón cigars and the launch of a limited edition bourbondeveloped with Old Elk Distillery — another layer in this ultra-premium lifestyle experience.
Available exclusively at The Tobacconist of Greenwich, the Padrón Rare Finds “A Hammer & A Dream” Madurojoins the ranks of collector-grade cigars alongside legends like the Padrón 1926 Serie, 1964 Anniversary, and Family Reserve lines.
