Signal 30 Benefit Fund 20th Anniversary celebrates two decades of the Signal 30 NYS Troopers Benefit Fund with a limited edition cigar that honors those who protect and serve.
A Signal 30 Is a Call for Help
In New York State Trooper radio code, a "Signal 30" is a call for immediate assistance in an emergency. Since 2006, the Signal 30 NYS Troopers Benefit Fund has answered that call for Troopers and their families—providing grants, scholarships, and support during the most difficult moments: line-of-duty deaths, illness, injury, and loss.
Troopers Helping Troopers
The Signal 30 Troopers Benefit Fund is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) charitable organization founded by the New York State Troopers PBA, the union representing all uniformed New York State Troopers. As the only charity affiliated with the PBA, its mission is to raise money for Troopers and their families in extraordinary circumstances. The fund also provides an extensive scholarship program benefiting the children of Troopers pursuing higher education.
The Cigar
Crafted by Master Blender Eladio Diaz at Tabacalera Díaz Cabrera in the Dominican Republic, this 6 × 54 Toro features a stunning Corojo 99 Ecuador wrapper with a meticulously chosen filler of Habano 2000, Corojo Original, Corojo 99, and Piloto Cubano. Each puff reveals creamy notes intertwined with a sweet essence, balanced by a refined spiciness that awakens the palate. In Eladio Diaz's own words, the aroma is "nothing short of heaven."
The commemorative band marks the 20th anniversary (2006–2026) with imagery honoring the Signal 30 mission. Presented in elegant display packaging, each cigar celebrates the courage and sacrifice of New York State Troopers.
A portion of proceeds from this release benefits the Signal 30 NYS Troopers Benefit Fund.
