Richard Orlinski
The world's best-selling French contemporary artist, Richard Orlinski is known for his "Born Wild" sculptures — diamond-cut, monochromatic renderings of wild animals that explore the boundary between animal instinct and human culture. Kong is his most iconic subject: the great ape as a symbol of power, freedom, and something untameable. The Kong motif appears here on the Biggy, rendered in lacquer against chrome — bold in form, measured in tone.
Blue
Blue is Orlinski's more considered color — still vivid, still commanding, but with a depth that rewards attention rather than demanding it.
