The Flying Eagle has appeared on Stefano Ricci goods since the beginning of the Maison — on ties, on leather, on accessories, on the lining of jackets. It is not a decorative afterthought but an emblem of the house, and on the lid of this travel humidor it occupies the position it has always held: central, framed, and impossible to mistake. The object arrives in the hand as a Stefano Ricci piece before it is opened as a humidor.

The Flying Eagle

The motif sits within a gold finishing metal frame let into the lid — a presentation that treats the image with the formal deliberateness of a medallion. Gold is the right finish for the eagle. It carries warmth and authority in the same register as the image itself. A combination lock sits below the frame, the only hardware on a face that is otherwise uninterrupted: lid, frame, eagle.

Black Walnut Root / Mahogany Interior

The exterior is black walnut root — a material with natural variation that no two pieces repeat exactly. Stefano Ricci uses it across the full humidor range for its density, stability, and the organic depth of its patterning. The interior is Mahogany: the established choice for cigar storage, dimensionally stable, aromatic, non-reactive. The humidor holds nine cigars — seven at maximum length 199mm and two at maximum length 118mm, both to a maximum ring gauge of 58.

Travel Format

At 32 × 25 × 6 cm, the travel humidor is built for the trip rather than the desk. The combination lock secures the contents. The flat profile fits into luggage without competing for space. Nine cigars is a considered number — enough for a substantial journey without the weight of a full desktop unit.
