The horse has appeared in Stefano Ricci's vocabulary since the Maison's earliest collections — an animal associated with the culture of luxury, horsemanship, and the kind of refined athleticism that runs through the brand's identity. On the lid of this travel humidor it is rendered as a portrait within a palladium finishing metal frame, set against the dark, variable grain of black walnut root. The image brings motion to a static object: a quality the horse has always carried in the objects that depict it.

The Horse

The motif occupies the lid within a palladium finishing metal frame — cool-toned, precise, and suited to the grey-silver character of the image. Palladium brings a refinement to equestrian subjects that gold does not: less overt, more considered, the finish of an object meant for someone who does not need it to announce itself loudly. A combination lock below the frame is the only other hardware visible from the front.

Black Walnut Root / Mahogany Interior

The exterior is black walnut root — a material with natural grain variation that makes each piece distinct. Stefano Ricci uses it throughout the humidor line for its density and its visual seriousness. The interior is Mahogany: stable, aromatic, and the established choice for cigar storage. Capacity is nine cigars — seven at maximum length 199mm and two at maximum length 118mm, to a maximum ring gauge of 58.

Travel Format

At 32 × 25 × 6 cm, the humidor is proportioned for travel. The combination lock secures the contents. The flat form fits a bag or case without complexity. Nine cigars is a practical count for any journey measured in days rather than weeks.
