The Tatuaje Cojonu 2009 is a 6 3/4" x 48 torpedo that delivers the hallmark strength and richness of Pete Johnson’s acclaimed Cojonu series. Handcrafted at the My Father Cigars factory in Nicaragua, this full-bodied cigar features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a bold Nicaraguan binder and filler core—producing a powerful yet balanced smoke.
From the first draw, the Cojonu 2009 introduces deep flavors of black pepper, leather, and espresso, followed by secondary notes of earth, dark cocoa, and toasted oak. Its longer length allows the blend to unfold gradually, rewarding the smoker with complexity and evolving character from beginning to end. The construction is impeccable, offering a smooth draw and even burn throughout.
As a standout in the Cojonu series—known for limited production and bold, Cuban-influenced design—the 2009 is perfect for experienced smokers who enjoy strength, sophistication, and slow-burning luxury. Pair it with peated Scotch, bold Cabernet, or dark-roast coffee for an exceptional pairing.
Available now at The Tobacconist of Greenwich, where each cigar is stored under perfect aging conditions to ensure flavor integrity, consistency, and performance.
