The cigar case is made in coated canvas — the material that gives the exterior its distinctive texture and its resistance to the conditions of travel — decorated with the Monogram 1872 pattern. The gold metal base connects the case to the gold-accented versions of the other Monogram 1872 accessories: the burgundy cutter stand, the burgundy lighter, the burgundy ashtray. The founding logo is the same across all of them — on the case, it is the first object in the sequence that begins at the humidor and ends at the table.
