My Father La Lealtad — Spanish for "loyalty" — is the second release from the García family's newly opened factory in Honduras, following the success of My Father Blue in 2025.
The Blend
Pepin and Jaime Garcia have crafted La Lealtad with an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro Rosado wrapper — oily, chestnut-brown, with deep reddish undertones that catch the eye before you even strike a match. Beneath it lies a double binder of Honduran and Nicaraguan leaf, a construction technique that adds structure and complexity. The filler combines vintage Nicaraguan and Honduran long-filler tobaccos grown on Garcia family farms at Finca La Opulencia, their 1,000-acre estate in Honduras's Talanga region.
The Profile
Medium to full-bodied with more complexity and depth than its predecessor. The blend delivers notes of coffee bean, cocoa, leather, red pepper, and nutmeg, with earthy undertones and a hint of raisin. Strength builds steadily without ever getting aggressive — the kind of cigar that rewards patience and attention.
The Legacy
La Lealtad signifies a family legacy rooted in loyalty and tradition. The Garcia name has become synonymous with uncompromising quality — from Flor de las Antillas to Le Bijou 1922, from La Antiguedad to La Promesa. La Lealtad carries that same DNA: no shortcuts, no flash, just excellent tobacco handled with decades of expertise.
