S.T. Dupont 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea Twiggy — Vanikoro
The island of Vanikoro appears in Chapter Twenty-Four. The Nautilus navigates through an extraordinary barrier reef to reach the island — a maze of coral and crystal water where the usual rules of the ocean do not quite apply. Verne gives the scene the quality of a discovered world rather than a traveled route. The Vanikoro range captures that quality: vivid, organic, and alive with detail. In the Twiggy, it arrives in the most elegant pocket format S.T. Dupont produces.
Vanikoro — The Standard Range
The Vanikoro range forms the Standard tier of S.T. Dupont's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea collection — the most wearable and accessible expression of the novel's imagery. Where the Premium Gulf Stream and Pacific lighters use wave guilloché beneath gradient lacquer, Vanikoro uses the coral and bubble decoration of the barrier reef itself: a warmer, more organic motif rendered in royal blue gloss lacquer with chrome accents.
Royal Blue / Coral and Bubbles
The Vanikoro Twiggy's royal blue lacquer is glossy and fully saturated — the vivid blue of shallow reef water rather than the deep gradient of the ocean's premium chapters. The coral and bubble decoration runs across the Twiggy's extended surface with more room to breathe than on the Slimmy — the elongated form gives the motif space to express the detail of the reef rather than a compressed excerpt of it.
The Twiggy
The Twiggy draws from across S.T. Dupont's technical heritage: the flat, slim profile of the Slim 7, the jet flame capability of the Megajet, and the design language of the Line 2 — all expressed in the Maison's most architecturally deliberate pocket silhouette. Long and lean where the Slimmy is compact, the Twiggy sits differently in the hand: more considered, more formal. In Vanikoro royal blue, it carries the collection's most accessible palette in the format that wears it most elegantly.
