On the Biggy, the logo has the widest body of any torch lighter in the range: at 39mm across, the Monogram 1872 pattern has room to extend in a way it cannot on the narrower Twiggy, the decoration reading not as a concentrated mark but as a full pattern across the lacquered surface.

2 cm Torch Flame / The Biggy Format

The 2 cm torch flame is the Biggy's distinguishing specification in the S.T. Dupont torch range. Wider than the Twiggy's 1 cm flame, it is suited to larger ring gauges, to the kind of cigar that requires a longer, more substantial light, to occasions where the lighter is not an incidental object but the object around which the moment organizes itself. At 73.09 × 39 × 13.60 mm and 103g, the Biggy is shorter and wider than the Twiggy: a different weight in the hand, a different relationship to the cigar it accompanies. Gas refill sold separately.
