S.T. Dupont Twiggy Lighter — Monogram 1872, Grey
There is a version of the Monogram 1872 collection that announces itself, and a version that does not. The grey and silver Twiggy is the version that does not. The founding logo — S.T. Dupont's new Maison mark, upright, determined, and proud — occupies the grey lacquered body in silver, readable by tonal contrast rather than color contrast. At 95.10mm, the Twiggy gives the pattern more surface than any other format in the collection, and the grey and silver version uses that surface with restraint: the decoration present, the presence quiet.
Monogram 1872 / Grey and Silver
Grey and silver occupy the same position in the Monogram 1872 Twiggy trio that they occupy across the full collection: the cool, neutral option. The grey Twiggy cutter stand, the grey ashtray, the palladium Line 2 — each is the version of its object that asks nothing of the objects beside it, that works with any surface or collection because it does not compete. On the slim Twiggy body, grey and silver is the finish for the collector who has already assembled a palette and needs a lighter that serves it. Craftsmanship in metal and the art of lacquer carry the Monogram 1872 logo in the finish that reveals it most slowly — the quality of the decoration visible only to those who look closely enough to appreciate it.
1 cm Torch Flame / The Twiggy Format
The Twiggy is equipped with a 1 cm torch flame: a precise, directed jet for cigar and cigarette. At 95.10 × 25 × 9.60 mm and 80g, it is the slim alternative to the Line 2 — a different object for a different moment, a lighter that travels in a breast pocket rather than a trouser pocket, that suits a different hand and a different style of carrying. In grey and silver, the Monogram 1872 Twiggy is the most considered version of the lightest version of the collection: the finish that earns its place without insisting on it. Gas refill sold separately. Personalization available up to three characters.
